Predator Hunts
Lodging During Hunts
Lodging is included with a big game hunt. Lodging also includes home cooked meals. Enjoy on site lodging in one of our six private cabins overlooking a small lake. Bring a fishing pole, fishing is on us during your hunt. Non hunting guests $125+tax per night for lodging and meals.
Deposits and Payment
Deposits/Payment
If you are booking a Big Game Controlled Shooting Area Hunt, a deposit of $2,500 is required at time of reservation. If a member of your party does not show for the hunt, the $2,500 deposit is forfeited. All Free-Range Deer hunts require a $500.00 deposit, which is non-refundable*. When booking a Turkey or Waterfowl hunt, a deposit of 50% of your balance must be paid at time of reservation*. Balance of your hunt cost is due upon arrival at our lodge.

Permits
Kansas Hunting License (Resident and Nonresident Hunting License required for Free Range Hunting) a Timber Hills Hunting / Fishing Permit included in package. (Preserve hunts do not require a state license)*unless notified by THL staff*. It is the responsibility of the hunter to obtain the proper permits and licenses. All of the hunting permits and licenses are available for purchase on-line. Please go to the Kansas Wildlife and Parks Website for further details.

- Three Days / Two Nights *
(Arrive between 7am and Noon)
Day One – Hunt from 1 pm – Dark
Day Two – Hunt from 6 am – Dark
Day Three – Hunt from 6am – depart after evening hunt or stay the night and depart in the morning
Free Range Deer Hunts (5 Days)
- (Arrive between 7am and Noon)
- Day One – Hunt from 1 pm- Dark
- Day Two through Day Five – Hunt from Daylight – Lunch – Hunt until Dark
- Depart that evening or the next morning
* On large game hunts booking may be extended up to 3 days for a nominal charge. Special hunts can be arranged. Self guided hunts can be arranged.

Note: Anyone born on or after July 1, 1957 must have completed a certified hunter safety course to hunt wild animals in Kansas. Please visit the KDWP home page for further information.

Whitetail Deer
Mapleton KS, Whitetail Capitol of the World. 70 % success rates, avg. 150" to 170" some above 200". Hunt Free-Range Monster Whitetails. Semi-guided, 5 days, hunt thousands of acres, blinds and tree stands. We will gladly help make arrangements with local meat processors and taxidermists. Fully guided hunts on our 1,500 acre controlled shooting area. We use 4X4 utility vehicles to place you and your guide in one of 30 blinds or tree stands in pursuit of your trophy buck. Trophy Elk
Fully guided hunts on our 1500 plus acre controlled shooting area. Hunt our cedar glades, stalk the savannas,or the forested hills and valleys in pursuit of your trophy bull, and your skills will be challenged. We will gladly help make arrangements with local meat processors and taxidermists.


Trophy Buffalo/Bison
Fully guided hunts on our 1,500+ acre controlled shooting area. Hunt Kansas the way it was 200 years ago. Experience the thrill of the legend. Be challenged and awed while your prey thunders, swarms,, and circles to protect their own. We gladly help make arrangements with local processors and taxidermists.


Turkey
Come and match wits with wild America's most challenging bird. Your patience, knowledge, and skill will be put to the test as you call in your huge gobbling tom. Adding to your adventure, our diversified land of oak/hickory forests, and prairies are crisscrossed with Civil War era stone fences, including a bridge that once supported war wagons, cannons, and covered wagons.


Upland Game Bird Hunting
THLR is know for amazing Game Bird Hunts, where else would the Bird Hunters United and Pheasants Forever National Bird Dog Classic be held. These hunts are great for all hunters from beginners to experts. We offer Pheasant, Chukar and Quail Half Day Hunts with Guide and Dog. Be sure to ask about our amazing European Hunts.


Waterfowl
The State of Kansas is not typically know for great waterfowl hunting, On the other hand, Timber Hills is located in Southeast Kansas in the lower Missouri River Basin. The area has plenty of water and cropland food and the land boasts both Central and Mississippi Flyways. Our 40 acre lake is is the largest body of water for miles making it the perfect landing spot. Surrounding the lake are plenty of marshy and flat areas which make ideal resting and refueling spots for migratory waterfowl.
