Yes, lodging is included with your big game hunt at Timber Hills Lake Ranch. You’ll enjoy comfortable accommodations in one of our six private cabins overlooking a serene small lake. Each stay includes delicious home-cooked meals. Don’t forget to bring your fishing pole; fishing is complimentary during your hunt! For non-hunting guests, lodging and meals are available for $125 + tax per night.

When booking a Big Game Controlled Shooting Area Hunt, a deposit of $2,500 is required at the time of reservation. Please note that if a member of your party does not show up for the hunt, the $2,500 deposit will be forfeited. For Free-Range Deer hunts, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required. For Turkey or Waterfowl hunts, a deposit of 50% of your total balance is due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at our lodge. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

Yes, a Kansas Hunting License (for both residents and non-residents) is required for Free-Range Hunting. A Timber Hills Hunting/Fishing Permit is included in your package. For preserve hunts, a state license is not required unless otherwise notified by our staff. It is the hunter’s responsibility to obtain the necessary permits and licenses, which can be purchased online. For more details, please visit the Kansas Wildlife and Parks website.

Big Game Hunt Schedule (Three Days / Two Nights)

  • Arrival: Between 7 AM and Noon
  • Day One: Hunt from 1 PM to Dark
  • Day Two: Hunt from 6 AM to Dark
  • Day Three: Hunt from 6 AM; depart after the evening hunt or stay the night and depart in the morning

Free-Range Deer Hunt Schedule (Five Days)

  • Arrival: Between 7 AM and Noon
  • Day One: Hunt from 1 PM to Dark
  • Day Two through Day Five: Hunt from Daylight to Lunch, then Hunt until Dark
  • Depart that evening or the next morning

For large game hunts, bookings may be extended up to 3 additional days for a nominal fee. Special hunts and self-guided hunts can also be arranged.
